WHAT SETS THE TRTL TRAVEL PILLOW APART?

SCIENTIFICALLY TESTED NECK SUPPORT
To guide and refine the design development of the Trtl Travel Pillow, an independent scientific study assessed the pillow’s ability to improve sleep quality while traveling. In partnership with the University of Dundee and led by Professor Rami Abboud (Head of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery and Director of the Institute of Motion Analysis and Research), the study measured the Trtl Travel Pillow against a high-end traditional U-shaped travel pillow.
HOW DID THE PILLOW GET TESTED?
Recreating the setting of a Boeing 757 airliner and using motion-analysis technology, researchers were able to assess how each pillow affected head and neck alignment over time. The result? The Trtl Travel Pillow’s innovative design was rated to deliver superior support, effectively helping keep the head in an optimal sleeping position while sitting upright.
Using electrical-activity measurements from the neck, the study also showed that the Trtl Pillow Plus helped lower muscle exertion, thereby indicating reduced discomfort for the wearer and a more comfortable, restful sleep.
HOW DID STUDY PARTICIPANTS RATE THE TRTL TRAVEL PILLOW?
When people in the study were asked which pillow they would choose to keep, an impressive 124 out of 126 participants preferred the Trtl Travel Pillow over the traditional U-shaped memory foam pillow.
